Singularity Bomb

We are kicking it old school with this arcade game. I based this off of two arcade games of my past: Combat and Galaga. In this one, you are in charge of defending your home planet with an indestructible star ship. You also have the most powerful weapon in the universe: the singularity gun. This gun opens a singularity point which envelops opposing ships. That’s the good news. 

The bad news is that it is also dangerous; there is a failsafe on the gun which only allows one singularity out at a time. If you shoot another one, the first singularity destabilizes and disappears. Even more problems, it has such a strong gravity that your ship’s movement affects its motion. (It also has a short range, so use it wisely.)

You can play this game two ways with a time limit or the quickest to destruction of opposing fleet. Your goal in both versions is to destroy and destroy quickly.

DIRECTIONS:

TIME LIMIT:
Objective – Shoot as many ships in 60 seconds
Vertical Scrolling Ships = 1 point
Horizontal Scrolling Ships = 5 points
Fire – Left Click
Movement – Use Mouse (but ship will only go so far up)

BEST TIME:
Objective – Deplete the oncoming battalion in the least amount of time
Fire – Left Click
Movement – Use Mouse (but ship will only go so far up)
